Wideband Rydberg atom-based receiver for amplitude modulation radio frequency communication

چکیده
Based on Autler–Townes splitting and AC Stark shifts, we present a Rydberg atom-based receiver for determining the amplitude modulation (AM) frequency among wideband carrier range utilizing cesium atomic vapor cell. To verify this approach, measured signal-to-noise ratio data capacity with 10 kHz AM in from 2 GHz to 18 GHz. Without changing lasers, working band can be easily extended higher by optimizing feed antenna experimental configurations.

Ultra-Wideband Impulse Radio with Pulse Amplitude Modulation An Alternative Receiver Architecture
This report focuses on Ultra-Wideband Impulse Radio technology and more specifically focuses on the receiver architecture for these systems. Traditionally digital receiver architectures require analog-to-digital converters (ADC) running at very high sampling frequencies and therefore are not the most efficient and power friendly architectures. Few alternative receiver architectures addressing t...

We have demonstrated a digital receiver performing direct digitization of radio-frequency signals over a wide frequency range from kilohertz to gigahertz. The complete system, consisting of a cryopackaged superconductor all-digital receiver (ADR) chip followed by room-temperature interface electronics and a field programmable gate array (FPGA) based post-processing module, has been developed. T...

متن کاملDigital Architecture for an Ultra-Wideband Radio Receiver
This paper presents analysis of a digital Ultrawideband (UWB) radio receiver operating in the 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz band. Analog to digital converter (ADC) bit precision is analyzed on two types of UWB signals OFDM UWB and pulsed UWB all in the presence of Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) and a narrowband interferer in the channel. This paper shows how probability of error and the bit resolut...
متن کاملA/d Precision Requirements for an Ultra-wideband Radio Receiver
Ultra wideband radio (UWB) is a new wireless technology that uses narrow pulses to transmit information. Implementing an “all-digital” UWB receiver has numerous potential benefits ranging from low-cost and ease-of-design to flexibility. Digitizing an RF signal near the antenna, however, introduces its own set of challenges and has traditionally been considered infeasible. A high-speed, high-res...
